The Hobson Science Library holds the science collections of the Ohio Wesleyan University Libraries. It maintains holdings for 224 print journal titles, 3500 electronic journal titles, and 35,000 books and subject-specific reference materials. Reserve readings are also maintained for the science curriculum. In CONSORT and OhioLINK Science Library items display the location "Science Stacks", Science New Books", "Science Reference", etc. and have the word "Science" printed above the call number on spine labels. The departments of Botany and Microbiology, Chemistry, Geology and Geography, Math and Computer Science, Physics and Astronomy, and Zoology are served by this collection. It is located in Bigelo Rice Hall, part of the
Specialized reference consultation services for both students and faculty are provided by the Science Librarian Monday - Friday, though appointments are encouraged.
Instruction
Course-related library instruction is available upon request and is conducted by the Science Librarian.
