Citing Digital Images, Chicago Style
Example:
Schoof, Renee, photographer. “Chinese Food.” Photograph. Asssociated Press, January 6, 1998. From AP Images. DOI: 98010601700 (accessed February 1, 2008).
Structure:
1. Photographer’s last name, first name, middle initial (if given). Include the role after the name, i.e. photographer.
2. “Photo Title”
3. Format, i.e. photograph
4. Publisher, i.e. Associated Press (from the credit or source field)
5. Copyright date (if not date use “n.d.”
6. Source or database name, i.e. AP Images
7. DOI – Digital Object Identifier (or URL if from a web page)
8. Accessed date
